Connection with Your Community - Your Chamber is a diverse organization of people in business like you. By prominently displaying your member decal and your Chamber plaque, you set an example to your employees and all who enter your business that YOU actively support and invest in the future growth and prosperity of the business community. Those that are active with the Chamber, through our events and committees, enjoy the greatest success for their business and learn about and contribute to the success of St. Lucie County. Your support is critical to our ongoing efforts and we ask you to add your Chamber membership investment to your company’s annual budget.

Business Advocacy - The Chamber works to ensure that St. Lucie County remains a prosperous place to do business. The Chamber’s diverse Board of Directors, Committees and Council members, 375 members strong, volunteer their time and work diligently to enhance and protect our business community. Just a few of their accomplishments include, a marketing campaign for the successful passage of the West Virginia Corridor bond referendum, attracting the Wal-Mart Distribution Center to St. Lucie County, Business Assistance Center for Hurricane Recovery Assistance distributing $8,000,000 on the Treasure Coast, Business Retention and Expansion Program helping to identify problems and keep our businesses here, Scholarships for St. Lucie County Teachers, and many other efforts to keep local ordinances business friendly. In addition, a group of Chamber members travel annually to Tallahassee to meet with our State legislators to communicate the issues that directly impact and affect our business community.

Education – The Chamber offers many educational opportunities for business. We enjoy partnerships with the Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration and S.C.O.R.E. which conducts free monthly seminars, as well as free individual business counseling on a weekly basis. We have an extensive library of business planning resources. All of which are free to members. Through the Chamber’s diverse committees, speakers throughout the Treasure Coast offer advice and solutions specific to the needs of businesses identified by the committee members. Finally, our monthly Commerce Street Lunch hosts community leaders addressing current community issues and concerns.

Exposure - Your firm is automatically promoted through the Chamber’s annual publication, The Business and Community Guide. All members receive two free directory listings which are seen by thousands of local businesses, visitors and future residents. All of our members are also found on the Chamber’s website, www.StLucieChamber.org, which receives approximately 10,000 user sessions and 200,000 hits per month. A free link to your website is also included in your membership investment. We invite all of our members to display their business cards or brochures in all three of our Chamber locations for our visitors to see.

Networking Opportunities - One of the most important benefits of Chamber membership is the numerous opportunities to meet other Chamber members. Valuable and long lasting business relationships have been made possible through networking at Chamber events. Your Chamber offers three networking functions each month at various times of the day to accommodate everyone’s schedule. A networking breakfast is offered on the second Tuesday of every month and a new member breakfast is offered quarterly. Both the Networking Breakfast and the New Member Breakfast are ideal ways to introduce yourself and your business to other members. The Commerce Street Luncheon features a guest speaker to discuss issues of importance and timely relevance about things occurring in our community. Finally, our most popular monthly event, drawing more than 150 people, is the BASH, Business and Social Hour, which is hosted by a Chamber member after hours at their place of business.
